Move to Azabu-Juban, the everyday neighborhood of Usagi and her friends, where Minato City installed Sailor Moon manhole covers. Finish in Yotsugi, where Katsushika City placed statues of the Captain Tsubasa team around the streets.

Shibuya Scramble Crossing
Come early, before the crowds peak. The anime's official site publishes a map of Shibuya Incident locations. Photograph from the sidewalk or from a station walkway, never from the road.
Take the subway from Shibuya to Azabu-Juban; check a route planner for the best way.

Midday
Azabu-Juban Shopping Street
Minato City installed seven Sailor Moon manhole covers in the ward. One is at the entrance of the Azabu-Juban shopping street, which also has shops that appear in the work and places the author used to visit.
Tokyo Tower appears again and again in the series. Two more of the city's manhole covers are nearby, in front of Minato City Library and in front of the Shiba water supply station. The official Minato City page has a map of all seven covers.
Afternoon
Tokyo Tower → Yotsugi
Head east to Keisei Yotsugi Station; check a route planner for the trains.

Late afternoon
Captain Tsubasa statues
Katsushika City placed statues of Tsubasa and his teammates around Yotsugi and Tateishi. The life-size Tsubasa in Yotsugi Tsubasa Park was the first. A statue map is handed out at Keisei Yotsugi and Tateishi stations, among other places, and there is an English version.

Shibuya Crossing is a working road. Cross with the lights, don't stop in the middle for photos, and don't set up tripods on the sidewalk.
Manhole covers are in the street. Stand on the sidewalk to take photos and watch for bicycles and cars.
Azabu-Juban and Yotsugi are neighborhoods where people live. Keep your voice down and don't photograph residents or their homes.
One Captain Tsubasa statue stands next to the main gate of a high school. Take your photo and move on; don't enter the school grounds.

Can I still see the life-size Gundam in Odaiba?
No. The official site says the life-size Unicorn Gundam statue ended its display on August 31, 2026. This route goes to Yotsugi instead.
Is the Tokyo Subway Ticket worth it for one day?
Check the current price and coverage on the Tokyo Metro page, then add up the rides you plan to make.
Where exactly are the Sailor Moon manhole covers?
Minato City lists seven locations, including the Azabu-Juban shopping street entrance, in front of Minato City Library, near the Shiba water supply station by Tokyo Tower, and near Takanawa Gateway Station. The city's page has the full list.
Is Hikawa Shrine in Azabu the model for Rei's shrine?
Fans say so, but Minato City's official page does not mention it. If you visit, remember it is an active shrine.
How long does the Captain Tsubasa statue walk take?
Seeing all the statues on foot takes a few hours. For a short visit, see the life-size Tsubasa in Yotsugi and a few statues on the way to Tateishi.
