Where the new cover is and how to see it

The city's waterworks department says the cover is on the plaza in front of the south exit of Numazu Station, on the west side of the Numazu Sangyo Building. It sits on the sidewalk, so the city asks visitors to look at it safely without blocking passersby. The date of installation, June 30, was chosen because it is the day Aqours, the group in the series, was formed. The city also publishes a map of its original design manholes for planning a walk.

Station-area spots named on the city's route

The Numazu tourism portal's route page lists the area outside the north exit of the station as a place shown in the anime, in a flyer-handing scene from episode 3 of the first season. The south exit area appears in the ticket-gate scene of episode 11, and in episode 5 a character runs along the Nakamise shopping street, whose entrance is also shown in a promotional video shoot.

The route notes that the Plaza Verde convention complex, about 3 minutes' walk from the north exit, appears from the second season and has a color manhole on its second floor. The page also describes an official local stamp program, the Numazu Machi-aruki stamps,. The route also lists the Numazu Civic Cultural Center, which it calls the venue where Aqours sing in the preliminary round in episode 11 of the first season, and says it displays Aqours color manholes.
