A small public beach in the Uchiura district, facing Awashima across the bay. Numazu City's tourism portal says it appears again and again in key scenes and is a special place for Aqours. Izu-Mito Sea Paradise, an aquarium used in an Aqours music video, is right next to it.

The beach and its facilities
Numazu City describes Mito Beach as a compact swimming beach with a strip of sand about 100 meters long and 20 meters wide. The water is shallow, and the city says that makes it reassuring for families with small children. During the swimming season there is one public toilet, inside the Uchiura fishing cooperative building, and beach huts are open, but there are no showers. The city lists an AED at a fire station branch nearby and gives the beach a water-quality rating of AA for the 2025 season.
A sightseeing boat dock sits at one end of the sand. The city says cruises there let passengers look at Mt. Fuji from Uchiura Bay, and one course includes a barbecue on board. Details come from the operator, Chidori Kanko Kisen.
Getting there
From JR Numazu Station, the city lists a bus ride of about 40 minutes to the Mito stop. By car it is roughly 40 minutes from the Numazu interchange of the Tomei Expressway or the Nagaizumi-Numazu interchange of the Shin-Tomei Expressway. A boat called Chidori-maru also runs from Numazu Port in about 30 minutes, in summer only. The beach itself has no parking, although cars can park if you use the neighboring aquarium.
