Takaoka City's gallery for its most famous son, on the 2nd floor of the Takaoka Art Museum. It shows original Doraemon artwork, his personal effects and manga he drew during his Takaoka years. Closed on Mondays (the next weekday if Monday is a holiday) and from December 29 to January 3; about ¥500 for adults, and a separate ticket from the art museum's own exhibitions.

Ticket categories and how to get there
Individual tickets are about 500 yen for adults and university students, about 300 yen for junior and senior high school students and about 200 yen for children aged 4 to elementary school. Seniors 65 and over pay about 400 yen, and children 3 and under are free. Visitors with a disability certificate and one companion enter free. The gallery's own page notes that entry is not timed.
The gallery is about 2 km from Takaoka Station, a roughly 20-minute walk. Etchu-Nakagawa Station on the JR Himi Line is about 2 minutes on foot, though the gallery's access page carries a January 2019 date, so check the timetable before you go. Parking in the art museum's basement is free for up to 2 hours.
