Daruma Ryoriten is one of the Odawara eateries where MF Ghost's protagonist and an Odawara-born driver are shown eating. The Japanese restaurant was founded in 1893, and its building, which has a temple-style gabled roof, is a nationally registered tangible cultural property. The ground-floor dining hall serves the tempura rice bowl that has been a specialty since the restaurant's founding, alongside set meals, sushi, and other à la carte dishes.
It is open from 11:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:00). The second-floor tatami rooms are often used for betrothal ceremonies and memorial services and serve course meals only. The restaurant is about a 7-minute walk from Odawara Station's east exit, with parking for roughly 30 regular cars and 3 large vehicles (bus visitors should inquire in advance).
