A shrine near Akihabara that the Tokyo tourism board lists as a key setting in Love Live! and a location in Steins;Gate (both entries are on the Anime Tourism 88 list). The shrine has offered collaboration charms and ema with several anime, and its museum has held collaboration exhibitions. It is an active shrine, a short walk from Ochanomizu and Akihabara stations.

Getting there and what the shrine says about visiting
The shrine lists several walking routes: about 5 minutes from Ochanomizu Station on the JR Chuo-Sobu Line (Hijiri Bridge exit), about 7 minutes from Akihabara Station (Electric Town exit), and about 5 minutes from Suehirocho Station on the Ginza Line. A Toei bus stop is about a minute's walk away. A small number of parking spaces for worshippers is available on the north side.
The shrine's FAQ says it is open to enter from any direction and that bowing at the gates is a matter of personal choice. It also asks worshippers to purify their hands and mouth at the water basin and to pray before buying charms.
