The official Hatsune Miku facility, run by Crypton Future Media, the company behind the character. It is on the 4th floor of the domestic terminal at New Chitose Airport, with a free museum area and a permanent shop, open 9:00-19:00 and year-round. Snow Miku, the Hokkaido version of the character, is the theme.

What visitors can do inside
The museum area shows life-size standing figures of Snow Miku that can only be seen here, along with illustrations and goods featuring Snow Miku in many different outfits. Some of the displays change with the season. Photos and video are basically allowed, but the operator asks visitors to follow the guidance posted in the store.
A wall for the Piapro community lets visitors leave their own illustrations and messages. The shop sells goods for Snow Miku, her pet character Rabbit Yukine and the other Hatsune Miku virtual singers, including items made only for this store. It accepts cash, credit cards, electronic money and barcode payments.
Check-in with the Miku Navi app
Visitors who install the official Hatsune Miku Navi smartphone app can check in at the store. In the app, open the Events screen, choose Snow Miku Sky Town, tap the check-in button and scan the QR code posted in the store. After checking in, the Snow Miku picture can be downloaded from the check-in history on the My Page screen. An account and sign-in are required.
The operator also says the store sometimes sets up booths at regional product fairs and Hatsune Miku events, so a booth may turn up outside Hokkaido.
Background of the facility and the character
The store has run as a permanent shop since December 20, 2014, and it marked its 10th anniversary in December 2024. The operator announced a renewal of the store with a new life-size Snow Miku figure at that time.
Snow Miku was born after a pure white Hatsune Miku snow sculpture was made for the 2010 Sapporo Snow Festival. Since then, the SNOW MIKU festival has been held in Hokkaido every year, and each year's costume design is chosen from entries submitted online. Rabbit Yukine, picked through a public call for entries, is modeled on the Ezo snow hare, an animal native to Hokkaido, and fans celebrate November 11 as Yukine Day.
