A Haikyu!! monument marking the series' appointment as a Sendai tourism ambassador was installed in front of the Aoba Gymnasium on August 14th, 2025. It shows Oikawa Tooru and Iwaizumi Hajime, the two Aoba Josai High School players who are rivals of Karasuno High School.

Other Haikyu!! stops in Sendai
Sendai's tourism site pairs this monument with other Haikyu!! spots in a two-day plan. Manhole covers with character designs run along the road from Tomizawa Station on the Namboku subway line toward Kamei Arena Sendai. That arena is closed for major renovation from May 21, 2025 to March 2027, and its Haikyu!! monument has been moved to the adjacent Tomizawa Park for the period.
A further monument stands in front of the Sendai City Museum, on the former Sannomaru area of Sendai Castle. The museum lists adult admission at about 460 yen, hours of 9:00 to 16:45 with last entry at 16:15, and closures on Mondays and the day after public holidays. The plan names the Loople Sendai bus as the way from Sendai Station to the museum.
Getting around and buying goods
The itinerary gives about 15 minutes by car or taxi from around Tomizawa Park to the Aoba Gymnasium, and about 25 minutes by car or taxi from Sendai Station to Tomizawa. By public transit, it suggests taking the Namboku line from Tomizawa Station to Kita-Sendai Station.
