Tomizawa Manhole Covers and Park Monument
Sendai, Miyagi
Manhole covers with Haikyu!! characters on them are set into the road out of Tomizawa Station. The road runs towards Kamei Arena Sendai, on the subway's Namboku Line. Sendai's tourism board lists the walk as the opening stop of its own Haikyu!! route. The monument used to stand at the south entrance of Kamei Arena Sendai. It was moved to Tomizawa Park next door, because the arena is closed for major renovations from May 21, 2025 to March 2027. Everything here is outdoors, free and open at any hour.
Aoba Arena (Aoba Gymnasium) Monument
Sendai, Miyagi
A Haikyu!! monument marking the series' appointment as a Sendai tourism ambassador was installed in front of the Aoba Gymnasium on August 14th, 2025. It shows Oikawa Tooru and Iwaizumi Hajime, the two Aoba Josai High School players who stand between Karasuno and the national tournament. The monument is outside the building, so you can see it without going in or buying anything.
Sendai City Museum Monument
Sendai, Miyagi
The second tourism-ambassador monument stands in front of Sendai City Museum, on the Sannomaru grounds of the old Sendai Castle. It carries a specially drawn illustration by the author and shows Tsukishima Kei and Yamaguchi Tadashi. The museum's own page gives its size as about 2.48 metres tall and about 1.41 metres wide, in glass, on public display since the day after the unveiling in 2024. The monument is outside the ticket gate; the museum inside holds about 100,000 items on the history of Sendai and the Date clan.
