The five areas

The park spreads five areas across the large Aichi Commemorative Park (nicknamed Morikoro Park). The Grand Warehouse is a big indoor space with play areas, rare materials, a cafe and shops. Youth Hill includes the Earth Store from Whisper of the Heart, the Cat Bureau from The Cat Returns and a roundabout plaza. Dondoko Forest holds Satsuki and Mei's House, and Mononoke Village recreates a rural landscape inspired by Princess Mononoke. Witch Valley covers Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle and Earwig and the Witch, with a European-style townscape, shops, restaurants and ride attractions.

Tickets and timed entry

Tickets are sold in advance, with sales opening at 2:00 p.m. on the 10th of the month, two months before the visit date. The Grand Warehouse requires a designated entry time slot. With the five-area ticket the other four areas have no designated entry time, but some tickets for individual areas do set entry times. As of the operator's current page, the five-area ticket costs about 7,300 yen for adults on weekdays and about 7,800 yen on weekends and holidays, with children (age 4 through elementary grades) at roughly half. A Grand Warehouse-only ticket costs about 2,000 yen for adults.

Entry inside Okino House, Howl's Castle and the Witch's House needs the premium ticket or a same-day admission ticket, and the operator hands out numbered tickets at a small hut for those. Check the operator's page before you go.

Getting there

The nearest station is Aichi-Kyuhaku-Kinen-Koen Station on the Linimo line, right next to the park. A bus runs from the Nagoya Station area, and from Chubu Centrair Airport. The park has no parking lot of its own and asks visitors to use public transit, and its daily capacity is around 5,000 people.
